Shannon Crees is an Australian Visual Artist. Her artworks are a reaction to her immediate environment, demonstrating emotional and environmental fragility. Shannon produces multi-layered artworks that explore, question and indulge in superficial idealism; modern yet classic.
Shannon was the only Australian artist included in the high profile line up of Banksy’s cans festival 2 in London along side other artists such as x,x,x,x,x,x,
A Sydney based creative, she now dedicates most of her time to large scale artworks and participating in 'live painting shows'.
Shannon was the winner of Leichhardt councils’ 'Wall to Wall' competition, with an 80 square meter mural. She has featured on television shows such as ‘Getaway’, ‘The Apprentice’, as well as a profile on the ABC News art segment. She continues to evolve both Mural and original works, having worked with a variety of organisations in Australia.
Shannon's work has been exhibited extensively both locally and internationally, from street to high end galleries.
