AB Tasty is a French software company that offers a subscription-based internet marketing suite for A/B and multivariate testing, data insights on user engagement, and personalization.[1][2]

AB Tasty was created in 2011 by Alix de Sagazan and Rémi Aubert, and is headquartered in Paris. The company also has offices in Bordeaux, London, Madrid, Cologne, New York, San Francisco, and Singapore.[3][4]

History

[edit]

The company was first created as a web analytics consulting agency, named Liwio, in 2009. Two years later, de Sagazan and Aubert rebranded as a SaaS application named AB Tasty that was focused on conversion rate optimization.[5]

In 2017, the company raised $17 million in a Series B round of funding from Korelya Capital and Partech Ventures, and from previous investors, Xange Private Equity and Omnes Capital.[6]

Features

[edit]

The platform has a visual editor (WYSIWYG) and widget library subscribers can use to modify their web pages.[7] [8]

In 2016, AB Tasty acquired Nirror software that video records the cursor movements of a visitor on a website, which can then be analyzed on replay.[9]

Awards

[edit]

In 2015, AB Tasty won the e-Commerce Award in Technology at Paris Retail Week for its mobile compatibility feature “AB Tasty for Apps.”[10]

AB Tasty was given the French Tech Pass issued by Cap Digital in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.[11]

The company was ranked 107th on the Deloitte Technology EMEA Fast 500 ranking in 2016.[12]
