Dinosaur House is a small dinosaur museum in the historic town of Raetihi. The dinosaur collection is housed in a 1922 heritage building which was originally built for the Waimarino County.
Created and run by the Moore family it opened in September 2019 and celebrates everything dinosaur using a mixture of sculptures, skeletons, animatronics and fossils, complemented by several dinosaur themed documentaries. A garden behind the main building also contains a collection of dinosaur statues and a dinosaur dig sandpit.
