About North Carolina State University NCSU Bell Tower North Carolina State University (NC State or NCSU) is a public research university in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is a land, sea, and space-grant institution in the University of North Carolina system that forms one corner of the Research Triangle. Hill Library About the Special Collections Research Center The NCSU Libraries Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) is building an innovative, multidimensional special collections program in support of research and teaching at the university. The SCRC holds more than 22,000 linear feet of original materials documenting key collecting areas, which include the history of NCSU; the history of plant and forestry genetics and genomics; the history of computing and simulation; architecture, landscape architecture, and design; animal rights and welfare; textiles; veterinary medicine; zoological health; entomology; and related subject areas.
