- This is a proposed option for the Wikipedia:WikiProject Administrator/Admin Recall RfC.
Any administrator is made subject to the requests for adminship process (RFA) for the purpose of reconfirming their administrator status if one hundred users who are eligible to participate in RFAs request it.
The request shall be made on the talk page of the administrator's most recent successful RFA, and shall be in the form of a numbered list of signatures with an optional short rationale. As soon as the list reaches 100 eligible editors, a bureaucrat shall close the request and initiate the reconfirmation RFA. Any disputes regarding the process shall be adjudicated by bureaucrats.
There is no time limit for the collection of 100 signatures, but users may remove their support for the request at any time, and no administrator is required to undergo a reconfirmation RFA more than once every eighteen months.
The reconfirmation RFA is to proceed as normal, but the closing bureaucrat may at his or her discretion determine a consensus for success if the result is at 65% or more of votes in support, rather than the usual minimum threshold of 70%. If the RFA is closed as successful, the administrator retains his or her status. If it is closed as unsuccessful, the administrator status is removed and may be regained through a new RFA.
