Athmiya Rajan is an Indian film actress who works predominantly in south Indian films. She started her career with the Tamil movie Manam Kothi Paravai in 2012 opposite Shivakarthikeyan. Though the movie was commercially successful, she couldn’t make this break through because of her studies. She was critically appreciated for her role as Nimisha an Endosulfan victim in the Malayalam movie , Amoeba, which bagged state award for 2nd best movie in Malayalam in 2016. Her big break through came in 2018 with the Malayalam film Joseph. She received 2018 film critics special jury award for the performances in the movies Naamam and Joseph
