Edward Lyon
Edward Lyon is an American author, consultant, attorney and public speaker who is an authority on tax software. He is the cofounder of TaxCoach Software, LLC as well as the cofounder of The American Institute of Certified Tax Coaches.
Background
[edit]Lyon was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received a B.S. in history from Hamilton College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
Career
[edit]Lyon worked as a legislative analyst for the House Republican Conference under Dick Cheney and Jack Kempin 1986. Lyon left his position as a legislative analyst in 1988. Lyon continued his career as a staff writer for National Underwriter Company, a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch, and a pension-marketing consultant for Ohio National Life Insurance Company, before creating the Taxcoach Software.
Recognition
[edit]Lyon has appeared on over 300 radio and television broadcasts, including over two dozen national television appearances. Lyon’s appearances include interviews on CNN,[1] Fox News, MSNBC, and CNBC [2][3]</ref>.[4] Roseanne Barr dubbed Lyon “The Funniest Tax Guy in America” on her talk show, The Roseanne Show.
