Nyctibatrachus spp. (Phansad W.S.), part of genus Nyctibatrachus, is very slimy in nature. The typical habitat in which this frog is found is under rocks or in rock crevices in flowing stream in semi-evergreen forest.
The distribution of this frog is still perfectly not known but is found originally from Phanasad Wildlife Sanctuary which is near the cost of Konkan in the Western Ghats, District: Raigad, State: Maharashtra
The habitat in which this frog lives is generally a Moist deciduous forest, Semi-evergreen forest to Evergreen forest. The Microhabitat in which this frog is found is flowing streams and it occupies Rock crevices in the stream.
