Googan Baits LLC, a tackle company, was founded in 2018 by Winston Tucker, an entrepreneur in the outdoors industry. The brand is supported by the so called "Googan Squad" a group of youtubers that have created and use the products they sell. This includes apparel and lures for the Largemouth Bass. In 2021 Googan Baits made 2.00 Million and are the first tackle company to grow their brand on Youtube and not focus on professional tournaments.
History[edit]
On December 31st 2020 Googan Baits was bought by House of Outdoors. Later that year House of Outdoors was bought out by Rise Run Capital. Matt Kendrick is the CEO of Googan Baits and the initial investor in the Googans. Along with his chief financial advisor, Robert Muti have been able to sell Googan products both online in retailers across the U.S. Googan Baits and their Googan Squad team take advantage of the modern day vlogging to push a product.

Googan Marketing[edit]
Googan has been able to find success through 8 million subscribers on Youtube as of the buyout from Rise Run in 2020. Googan Squad is the first tackle brand to use online platforms to build their brand rather than traditional ways of growing similar businesses. For the Googans, Youtube has served as an advertising platform for their array of products This was unprecedent in the fishing industry prior to Googan.
Product Line[edit]
The Googans have a variety of products. They started with Googan Baits, which were soft plastics including lures resembling crawfish, worms, small baitfish and frogs. Later they released a large line of hard plastics, jigs, and wirebaits. Shortly after, terminal tackle including hooks and weights. The biggest release from the Googans have been their gold and green series rods. Their most recent editions include a large line of apparel including sunglasses, gaiters, sweatshirts, hats, and t-shirts.
