Kooboo CMS is a free and open source content management system (CMS). It is based on ASP.NET MVC and Microsoft Metro Style UI.[1] The source code is hosted at http://kooboo.codeplex.com/. A user forum is available at http://forum.kooboo.com/.


History

Kooboo CMS was developed by the Chinese software vendor Yardi Technology Limited in 2008.[2][3]

The first open source version of Kooboo CMS was released in August 2009.

In 2010, Kooboo CMS was added to Microsoft’s Web App Gallery.[4]

Licensing

Early versions of the open-source Kooboo CMS software were licensed under GPL. Beginning with version 4.0, Kooboo is licensed under the Revised BSD License.[6]
