I was born in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, the People's Republic of China. I immigrated to the United States when I was one. I currently live in Olympia, Washington, USA, but I've lived in a variety of locations within the United States, including Pullman, Washington; West Lafayette, Indiana; and Charleston, South Carolina. Living in these diverse places has imbued me with what I believe is more tolerance of other people and their beliefs.
