Aakhri Chahar Shamba is a religious event in Islam. It is the last Wednesday of the month Safar in the Arabic lunar calender. This day is considered as sacred by the Muslims because on this day Prophet Muhammad (S) became healthy after the illness and had a bath. Later on the 12th of the next month (Rabi-al-auwal), he (s) died following this event.
