Felis vireti

[edit]

The name Felis vireti was first used in 1954, formally described in 1955. It was mentioned in various other subsequent papers until 2014, when it was designated a nomen dubium in a doctoral dissertation due to a lack of cranial fossils attributed to it.[1]

  • Geological range: Ramblian to late Vallesian (MN3-MN10)
