Akuila Savu

Akuila Toro Savu, a former government economist, is also the former CEO of Air Pacific, now Fiji Airways, and Ports Authority of Fiji. He is currently the deputy chairman of the board of the $23 million dollar Yatu Lau Company, a company of the Lau province. The Yatu Lau Company Chairman is the First Lady Adi Koila Nailatikau, daughter of Ratu Kamisese Mara Fiji's first Prime Minister and late President.

Personal Life

Savu, who hails from Daliconi on the Island of Vanua Balavu in the Lau Province is the son of Josefa Savu and Kelera Mate. He is married to Aileen Savu (nee Nielsen) and has five children, Ulita, Akuila, Carmela, Sereima and Joshua.
