Sen McGlinn (born 3 March 1956 in Christchurch) is New Zealand poet, artist [1] and theologian whose speciality is on Baha'i political theology. He is also translator of academic texts from mainly Dutch and Persian and member of the editorial board for Iranian Studies Series [2]. His masters thesis in Islamic studies, at the University of Leiden was titled, Church and State - A postmodern political theology [3]. Between 1984 - 1988 he studied English literature and theology at Otago University, Knox College, Otago and Holy Cross Seminary. His English honours thesis at Otago University was on Eliot's Ash Wednesday (poem).
