Wearne, L. (2012, February 16). Species profile- Fontainea venosa. QLD Wildlife Data API, Queensland government. https://apps.des.qld.gov.au/species-search/details/?id=11304

Wearne worked under Queensland Government and the data in the web-archive was sourced from QLD Wildlife Data API.

Fontainea venosa also commonly known as “Southern Blushwood” , “Veiny Fontainea”, “Queensland Fontainea” and formerly named as “Bahrs Scrub Fontainea”[1].

It has a leathery and hairless elliptic to oblanceolate leaves, with its wide roundest part near its apex and narrowest near its base.[2]

City of Logan (Queensland Government) has to recover Fontainea Venosa through its rescovary plan under "Restoring Belivah Creek"[3]
