Elijah Rock is a musician from Novi, Michigan.
Personal Life
[edit]Elijah now age twenty-three was born, in 1987, in Novi, Michigan. His mother and father named him Andrew Richard Kozar and sent him out into the world. As a child he was baptized Catholic and attended Novi Public Schools. Eli always had aspirations of higher learning so he attended Novi High School where he excelled in very few of his classes. After high school he was once engaged to his high school sweet heart but eventually that was broken off. At the present, Elijah is single in Novi and works at Auntie Ann’s Pretzel shop as a day job to support his music.
The Beginning
[edit]Elijah Rock, known to his family and a few select friends as Andrew Richard Kozar, is a pop-musician from Novi, MI. As a child he was baptized a catholic and attended Novi Public Schools where he met one of his closest friends, Benjamin Landry. Eli and Ben formed a strong relationship built on the core values of love, sex, justice, gaming, and of course music. As the years progressed Eli compiled a copious amount of music but had no means of recording his material or promoting it. Luckily for Eli, Ben had a large interest in sound production and was becoming quite the producer. The skill set was finally there, it was time for Elijah Rock to be released on the world.
They started work on the first album, “Love, Sex, Justice, and Gaming” which was destined to bring Eli great fame and fortune. Ben, with the help of his brothers, Max, and Jackson started laying down the beats for the entire album. Eli's career had officially begun. As Eli began recording the vocal tracks the whole group knew they had tapped into something special, so they decided they needed to become an official label. Ben and his assistants decided that the recording group was to be named; “Buffalo Carcass Records” and that they would strictly record Elijah Rock. And so began Elijah’s long and extremely successful recording life.
Music
[edit]Elijah’s music ranges from from hip/hop to pop rock, even pure comedy, and is satirical in nature. He uses modern day prejudices and misunderstandings of social groups and sings about them to expose their stupidity. He also considers himself quite funny and sings plenty of songs that are laugh out loud hilarious. Elijah uses a synthesizer and the program auto tune, quite like hip hop musician T-Pain, to make his music more interesting. [1] [2] Eli has nine albums, which he has recorded over the span of two years, quite an impressive feat for a man who doesn’t make very much money. Eli’s nine albums are titled, in chronological order, “Love, Sex, Justice, Gaming”, “E-Pain”, “Scooby Do Whap: The Scatter’s club”, his Christmas Album titled, “Have Yourself A Milky Little Christmas”, “Elijah Rock and the Mages of Nymphus”, “Bed Time Stories with Papa Lij’, And Other Twisted Tales”, The Adventures of Sklapajabape, and Skophajobope”, “Guido Beach”, and last but certainly not least “Message 416”. [3]
Live Performances
[edit]Elijah’s desire to just remain a studio musician was erased when fans across Michigan demanded a live show with Eli as the featured artist. Eli headlined what his faithful followers now know as Lijapalooza, where over a hundred rabid Elijah Rock fans showed up to bask in the music that they loved. Since then Elijah has made a significant improvement in his fan base and has played more shows here and there at small venues around the Mid-Michigan area. With his supporters growing, there has been increased murmuring throughout his following for another Lijapalooza. This idea has been considered and it is rumored that the next Lijapalooza will be held somewhere on Michigan State University’s campus.
