Vijay Kumar (author)[edit]

Vijay Kumar is an Indian-American academic, writer, and researcher. He has received numerous awards, including Businessman of the Year Award and the Outstanding Service Award. He received a PhD in Social Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Xavier University School of Medicine.

Career

Kumar received a Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree from George Washington University, and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Boston University. In 2008, he was appointed to the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy by Governor Jennifer Granholm.

In 2013, he received the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy Service Award. He is the current president and CEO of Community Rehabilitation Services and ADAPT Physical Therapy, as well as part of the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy Teller.
