Stephanie Steinhardt is a PhD student in Communication at Cornell University. She advised by Dr. Steve Jackson. Her research focuses on technology development for distributed collaborations and themes of cyberinfrastructure, e-Science and scientific collaboration, particularly focused on collaborative development, policy, emergence and data sharing, and also includes projects concerning computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW), and open source and commons production in science.

Stephanie can also be found writing and talking about D.I.Y, free culture, punk and art. Sometimes she introduces these ideas into an informal tumblog here:
