Lead - The introduction has been updated to reflect the content added by my peer, I think it's concise and clearly describes the article's topic. It could include a brief description of the article's major sections. I would put the third paragraph under a new section called "uses" and leave the first two paragraphs as the dedicated lead.

Content - The content added is relevant to the topic and up to date. I did not find any content that does not belong. I think the addition of a new section, mentioned above, would be relevant and helpful. Lots of additional content and sections were added - looks great!

Tone and balance - The content added looks to be neutral, and I did not identify any heavily contested or biased positions. There is no persuasion evident in the article.

Images and Media - Would love to see more images added. The current image is great at explaining what crushed red pepper is (dried and the pepper it's sourced from).

Source and References - All new content has reliable sources sited.

Overall - Wonderful additions of new content that meets Wikipedia's standards. I think with a little finetuning, the article will certainly be taken to the next class level.
