Steve G Stevanovich is the founder, President and CEO of SGS Global Holdings which holds investments in a number of technology companies in various industries including clean energy.

Prior to founding his own firm in 1997, Stevanovich was the Executive Vice President of Everest Capital Limited, a $1.4 billion fund management firm. During his five years at Everest Capital, the firm’s funds specialized in investments in distressed companies and restructurings. Prior to joining Everest Capital, Stevanovich had over seven years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking, most recently at Ingoldsby, O’Connor, Altwell & Company, a leveraged buyout firm in Boston, Massachusetts, where he was involved in analyzing and valuing companies in various industries and negotiating the capital structure and pricing of various transactions.

Stevanovich serves on the Board of Directors for a number of companies. He is also a member of the University of Chicago Board of Trustees where he sits on a number of committees including the University’s Audit Committee as well as the Investment Committee that manages the University’s $7.5 billion Endowment. He also serves on the Board of Advisors to the University’s Master of Science Program in Financial Mathematics.

In 2007 he endowed the Stevanovich Center for Financial Mathematics at the University of Chicago and in 2015 he endowed the Stevanovich Institute on the Formation of Knowledge, also at the University of Chicago.

Stevanovich holds an AB in Economics from the University of Chicago as well as an MBA from the University’s Booth School of Business.[1]
