JetsetGo Aviation Services Private Limited (JASPL) is a plane aggregator startup setup to manage,fly,operate chartered planes and helicopters. The company is also known by the name "Uber of the Indian skies " JetSetGo's journey was founded on 27th November 2014 [1]. The company has its Registered office in South Delhi and it is limited by shares. The Company Identification Number (CIN) is U74999DL2014PTC273566. Ms. Kanika Tekriwal is the Co-founder and CEO of the company. Other Co-founder is Mr. Sudheer Peria. Mr. Karan Singh is the director of the company. The Company caters to the needs of its customers by engaging in exclusive ground services, state of the art planes and helicopters. Being India's largest jet fleet owners, the company is able to offer the shortest wait time for an charter aircraft and in case of an unforeseen circumstances of maintenance the company is able to provide a substitute aircraft at the shortest possible time [2].

"Uber of the Indian skies" is operating air taxis with intra-city connectivity in India using electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The company uses maintenance procedure which is unique, SMART Management and mix technologies — all of which have been developed in-house by JetSetGo. This helps in profitability due to reduction in maintenance cost, increase in airtime resulting in decrease ground time. Smart Management techniques reduces the cost of chartered aircraft considerably, making them more frequently accessible to flyers.

The company now has contracts exceeding $6 million and manages assets worth $ 70 million. The company manages the largest fleet in India without actually owning them. There are about 150 commercial plane operators in India and the company works with majority of them. JetSetGo operates around 80 aircraft for now.Individuals and corporate who want to hire a jet are charged Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 7,00,000 for a day, depending on the size of the aircraft.The smaller ones are six-seaters, and the largest ones are 17-seaters. They charge plane operators 5% to 30% of their EBITDA, Seat on their flights can also be booked through their Sky Shuttle service for fare of INR 15,000 to INR 40,000 as per the distance. JetSetGo also arranges private charters for pilgrimages, weddings, and emergency rescues [2]. Covid-19 pandemic has unlocked new opportunities for private aviation sector.

Future Business Plans

JetSetGO Aviation Services Private Limited is planning to raise $ 200 million through venture capital, to expand its fleet size. The Company imported seven air crafts in the year 2021 and intends to import six air crafts in the current financial year 2022.About half a dozen air crafts are stationed in Hyderabad between Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Shamshabad and Begumpet airport Hyderabad.
