About Me I am the owner/writer/editor/photographer of the online publications Windermere Sun (www.WindermereSun.com) and Sun Is The Future (www.sunisthefuture.net), both are free to view. Windermere Sun is an online publication promoting community ABC's (activities, businesses, and collaborations) for healthy, happy, and sustainable living (having reached readers in 156 countries since its inception in 2014, according to google analytics) while Sun Is The Future is an online publication promoting the use of solar energy globally, having reached readers in over 200 countries, according to google analytics, through information, education, and crowdfunding/microfinance (helped to establish over 1600 projects and/or small businesses in solar energy, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and recycling, via Kiva's crowdfunding platform and Sunisthefuture Team at Kiva ( www.kiva.org/team/sunisthefuture )

My training and background are in math, physics, and engineering. I have received various degrees and training from University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana: B.S. in mathematics (major)/physics (minor), B.S. in civil engineering, M.S. in T.A.M. (applied mathematics or theoretical and applied mechanics), and few years of biophysics/medical sciences in college of medicine. I worked in engineering, applied math, medical research, and have been a university/college math professor (in Illinois and Florida) for about two decades prior to starting Sun Is The Future and Windermere Sun.
