PVwizard.com is a free website for checking up on a solar photovoltaic (PV) solar array output performance. It was launched in March 2012 and is operated and maintained by Wattminder, a California corporation. PVwizard has approximately 300 systems registered in total. It is an updated version of our original PV Performance Benchmark Calculator--PVmonitor.net. Anyone can register and become a user then create a record for a solar site/array, and enter parameter values prescribing the design or performance specification of brand and model of PV modules, azimuth and tilt, tracking or fixed, install date, etc. Or, a visitor may fill-in a brief table prescribing an array, with current or recorded environmental conditions--irradiance and cell-temperature, and get a benchmark output value in watts, for comparison with his/her actual readout. Its accuracy is only as good as the accuracy of parameter values entered.
