Tomas Juskaitis, working name TJ Photography, born 1990, is a commercial celebrities, fashion and portraits photographer. He received over thirty awards for photo competitions, as well as organising exhibitions, international photography camps and wide array of achievements within the photographic industry.
Life and career
[edit]Tomas has born in the small Lithuanian town, Vilkaviskis. He has started to immerse himself in photography when he was only 12 years old. Even at such a young age he was convinced he would grow up to be a photographer.[1]
Early in his career at a young age of 12, Tomas was lucky enough to have private photography lessons with John Juskevicius. Juskevicius also became an industry connection, introducing Tomas to one of the most famous photographers in the Baltic States - Tomas Kauneckas. Since Tomas was 14, he spent every summer working as an assistant to T. Kauneckas’ in Cyclopes studio.[2]
Between the ages of 14 and 17, Tomas not only received awards in recognition of his photographic images but also became a proactive member of the photography scene in Lithuania and the all Baltic States.[3] Impressively, he organised an exhibition, competition and young photographer camps.[4]
Photography become such a important part of Tomas’ life that he was skipping classes in school and personally work on projects such as a portrait collection for vice-champion bodybuilder, the most famous fashion designer in the Baltic States.[5]
Tomas does not want to limit his influence and career to Eastern Europe, his dream is much bigger than that. T. Kauneckas helped him realise that Lithuania was too small for someone possessing his passion and talent. So, Tomas decided to chase his dream to London. Landing on the streets of London,[6] he carves a path which distinctly expresses his unique style in a very professional way. As a result of his proactive behaviour, he has now become an assistant to one of the best paid celebrity photographers in the world.[7]
Tomas Juskaitis already have got invaluable experience working with world-famous celebrities from music, fashion and entertainment industries as Alicia Keys, Tinie Tempah, Adele,Duran Duran, Katherine Jenkins, Tom Jones,Mia,Scissors Sisters, Westlife, Chipmunk, Lord Alan Sugar, The Inbetweeners, Only way is Essex, Strictly Come Dancing,Alan Carr, Bear Grylls, Steve Jones, Gavin Henson and much more.
Based in Shoreditch, London Tomas and his creative team believe that
