Joseph Michael "Joe" Sheldon (Born -- Died

Joseph Michael Sheldon was an artist who worked and lived all over the world. He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where he showed artistic brilliance as a young boy. 

After receiving a Fine Arts Degree at the University of Arizona and winning the Harriet Hale Wooley Award Scholarship Joe moved to Paris, France where he studied at L'Academie Des Beaux-Arts. In France, Joe had many private showings at various galleries and collaborated on many art related projects. He won "Best of Show" from the American House Salon and the Salon D'Octagon in Paris, France. He was the designer and naturalist for Le Theatre Du Rond Point on Le Boulevard Champs Elysees and he was the Assistant Director under the direction of Rudolph Nuregev in the Paris Opera House. Joe has exhibited his work in numerous world wide galleries such as: The American House Salon in Paris, The Salon De Vitry-Vitry, France, The Watatu Gallery in Nairobi, Kenya, The Windrush Gallery in Sedona ,Az. and The Leslie Levy Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ. Joe spent his remaining years creating extraordinary masterpieces in Sedona, AZ. Joseph was fluent in several languages including, French, Italian and Spanish.
