Bill Bolland Couture is a distinguished private designer in the haute couture fashion world. The House of Bill Bolland Couture was established in 1980 with its first launch of the sheath gown for B. Altman & Company. With the launching of his famous sheath gown, Bill Bolland was placed within the circles of some of societies greatest women. It was in 1982 that the late Doris Duke gave credibility to his look and designs. With that, the House of Bolland flourished. By 1990, the House of Bolland was dressing over 2500 private clients worldwide and over 550 by order-only boutiques. The House has endured throughout the 1990's and into the new millennium as one of the premier haute couture houses of the world.
