TKF (The Tariq Khamisa Foundation) was founded by #REDIRECT Azim Khamisa to "stop kids from killing kids " after the 1995 shooting death of his 20-year-old son Tariq by a 14-year-old gang member, who was also the first juvenile tried as an adult in the state of California. TKF provides powerful school-based violence prevention programs for students to inspire and empower them to say "no" to gangs, guns, and violence.
