Good pictures were easy to shoot as Tundra enjoyed going places.
Tundra was given two keys to the city of Seattle at the top of the Space Needle. She ate one.
This photo was put on T-shirts without Tundra's permission.
Please note the dew on the deck. Tundra did this trick on her first take making the picture better.
This was the promotional picture used on Tundra's business card.

</gallery> Tundra, referred to often as Tundra the Wonder Dog, performed in television, commercials, and in films in the 80’s. Tundra won the highest award a dog can win in the television and motion picture industry, the PATSY Award. Tundra won it for a ninety-minute special of “Love Boat” (episode #162). The American Humane Association gave only one PATSY for a performing canine each year. It was Tundra’s first national performance. She received another nomination for the PATSY Award for a Mr. Coffee Commercial.

Tundra’s career highlights included playing a dog named Sam in “Against All Odds,” working with Jill Whelan (Vicki Stubing on the ship) and Howard Morris on another “Love Boat” episode (#208), being in a pilot called “He’s the Mayor,” causing trouble on an episode (#43) of “The New Leave It To Beaver,” being Hallie Mills’ dog in an “Amazing Stories” (season 2 episode #6), helping her trainer, Ted Baer, do a thirteen episode show for the hearing impaired called, “It’s a Dog’s Life!”, and having a two-page spread in People Magazine on November 19, 1984.

In the miscellaneous but interesting category, Tundra held three American Kennel Club Obedience Titles including the U.D. (Utility Degree), she had permission to fly in a seat on Frontier Airlines which was unusual in the 80’s, the AKC Dog Museum and the city of Seattle honored Tundra with the key to the city (see picture of the 14" long dog biscuit).
