Background

[edit]
Bayarbaatar Amgalan is a Bioinformatic Scientist born in 1978 in Sukhbaatar, Mongolia. His research focuses on designing computational methods to uncover driving effects of molecular activations on cancer-responsive regulatory mechanism and biomolecular network. Particularly, he is aiming to estimate effects of mutational signature activities on cancer responsive subnetworks such as dysregulated pathways and overlapping functional modules.[1]

Bayarbaatar Amgalan is a Bioinformatic Scientist born in Mongolia in 1978. Bayarbaatar was born in Sukhbaatar, Mongolia, and started his education journey in local schools there. From 1999 to 2005, He completed his B.S. and M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, National University of Mongolia (NUM). In 2008, Bayarbaatar completed his M.S. in Bioinformatics and Life Science, Soongsil University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. In 2011, He moved along with his family to Gwangju, Republic of Korea, to complete his Ph.D degree in Computer Science from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea. In 2019, Bayarbaatar moved to Maryland, USA, along with his family to continue his career as a contracted Bioinformatic Scientist at the National Institute of Health (NIH). [2][3]
