Chromate is a Chromium-based web browser and is a freeware web browser developed by Microdot Inc. Chromate is based on the Chromium source code. The application is designed to have a minimalist user interface. The developers state that it "should feel lightweight (cognitively and physically) and fast".Chromate  is designed to be a lightweight web browser which uses the Blink layout engine.

The browser is available for WindowsOS XLinux, Android and iOS.
