The company primarily operates online and was initially compared to a drop shipping business, as it was not involved in design and manufacturing, instead sourcing products from the wholesale clothing market in Guangzhou and United States. Beginning in 2024, the company has established its supply chain with a network of more than 350 suppliers.
History
[edit]Absolute Foxx is an online women's intimates apparel retailer, originally based out of the residence of its co-founder. The company was founded in 2020 by Iago Arruda in Tampa, FL.
The company first sold exclusively lingerie but expanded to Halloween costumes in their first year. In 2024, it began selling its own branded costumes. It now sells lingerie, everyday intimates, Halloween costumes, swimwear, and other women's apparel. Halloween costumes have included looks inspired by political figures, celebrities, memes, cultural events, and popular culture trends, along with conventional Halloween themes.
Criticism
[edit]In October 2023, Absolute Foxx received several complaints from customers in regard to purchases not being delivered, lost in transit, or delayed. Several complaints at the Better Business Bureau has shown a significant amount. The company has since refunded the customers and issued an apology, claiming logistics as the cause of the problem.
