Amber Yholeata Mills better known by her stage name, Amber Yholeata, is an American recording artist songwriter & philanthropist. Amber was born in Franklin, Virginia & raised in both Petersburg & Colonial Heights, VA. She was exposed to various artists & genres of music growing up. Her mother an entrepenuer exposed her to an array of artists Barry Manilow,Whitney Houston,James Taylor & Michael Jackson. She performed in her first talent show in second grade. Amber continued to sing in various pageants talent shows through her school & started writing her own original songs at age thirteen. Her recording career started near the end of her junior year in high school.

The girl with the white hairs signature hair style was heavily influenced by the impression 80's glam & hair bands(poison,nitro,cinderella,new york dolls)left on her once she was introduced to the music. She wanted a style that would represent her high-energy personality & stage performance. The white color choice is indicative of the light with which she wishes to inspire people all over the world.

Amber the so what, music video that accompanied her first single "So What!" from The Br!ght Side LP is featured on both the websites for MTV.com VH1.com VEVO
