Teer Enta (You, Fly) Teer Enta (English: You, Fly) is an Egyptian comedic movie directed by Ahmed El Guindi and was released in 2009. The movie is centered on Baheeg, a nerdy vet, who receives help from a genie to catch the attention of the woman he loves. Baheeg is played by Ahmed Mekky who is well known for his first leading role as Haythem Dabbour in the famous Egyptian movie called H-Dabbour that was released a year before Teer Enta.

Plot [edit] The story starts off in 1983 with Baheeg, as a child, and his parents travelling back to Egypt from Kuwait. Sadly, on their way back to Egypt an unfortunate car accident leaves Baheeg alone with his grandfather to take care of him from now on. As he grew up, he started to copy every single move that his grandfather did, for example read the newspaper, and push his glasses up his Nose Bridge, but five minutes into the movie his grandfather dies. “Baheeg” grows up to be a veterinarian and we get introduced to a few friends from the vet. At the vet Baheeg starts to complaint about his friend not picking up his phone after he called him 32 times. And then his friend asks him “have I ever answered you before?” which Baheeg answers by saying no. Then his friend says, “Why are you angry then?” Then we get introduced to Baheeg’s crush, she was pissed because her dog was in the vet for 2 weeks and nobody really cured his disease, she takes her dog and she leaves the vet being angry. Baheeg follows her outside and tries to make conversation with her just so he can get to know her better, but she is too pissed to hear anything. Then he says that her dog has a very serious disease and the dog will die after 2 days. She then looks at him with shock, and says that she will never be coming back to this vet ever again. After that, Baheeg gets invited to go clubbing for the first time in his life, he was very scared and dressed inappropriately. His friends tried to calm him down by having a shot of tequila, and telling Baheeg that it was a special juice which had no alcohol. Baheeg gets drunk, goes home, and starts talking to a picture of his grandfather because it was Baheeg’s birthday, he starts singing happy birthday to himself, and suddenly the lights shut off, and somebody in the other room, with a deep toned voice was singing the happy birthday song. Baheeg goes into the other room and finds who was singing the happy birthday song, then fainted. When his conscious returns, he found out that the person who was singing was Ifreet, a genie, who wanted to help himself get an A+ in the genie school. Baheeg was his last course and he was going to graduate. The genie, Ifreet, gave Baheeg 7 wishes, to which he can choose anything but death, love, and politics. Baheeg wanted to get his crush to love him, so he tells Ifreet that he wants to attract his crush into loving him. The first wish was for him to be a model with the perfect body so he could impress his crush Laila. Ifreet then snaps his fingers and says “Teer Enta.” Out of nowhere Baheeg becomes a model with a great body, and perfect hair. He works as a gym instructor and commercializes himself on T.V. After finishing his work at the gym. On the way back after getting his nails done from the salon, he finds his crush on the side of the road because of her flat tire. He can’t change her tire because his nails are freshly done. So he suggests that he will drop her home, and ditches his friend in the middle of the road. She then rides with him and dropped her to Sahel, a resort in Egypt. In the end, after Ifreet uses six of the wishes he then comes to an ending where he gets the girl in real life and not in his wishes, he got the girl because he knew what she wanted in a man after all.
