"Keep" "Delete" "Merge" Other Notes
Number of supporters 4 3 1.5 One editor proposed "delete, or perhaps merge"
Argument from policy Topic is notable per GNG (Another Believer). "Has lots of reliable sources" (nominator) Sources do not show notability independent of the show
Counterargument from policy Several variations of the idea that the show is what is notable, not the character Sources DO show notability independent of the show
Argument from precedent Another topic born of the same TV show was kept at AfD.
Counterargument from precedent Other topic was not directly comparable, since it is a legally registered organization.
Novel reasoning Not notable outside the context of the show (DGG).
Could fail notability in the long run (nominator).
Counterargument to novel reasoning No direct counterargument to DGG's point.
Notability is not temporary.
Analysis "Keep" prevails weakly on policy and precedent arguments, as well as on simple !vote count. "Delete" has substantial support, but the argument "independent notability" is not directly a requirement of notability policy. "Merge" has weak support numerically and was argued based on personal judgement, countered by a different editor's opposite judgement.

The result was no consensus. It appears to have generally been conceded that the article prima facie meets WP:GNG, but there was a significant strength of feeling on the "delete" side that an article about a segment/character from a TV show needs to go further than this and positively demonstrate notability that is independent of the TV show. Although this was a significant minority view, it is not directly based on notability policy, which imposes no such requirement. Nevertheless, if this minority view had been supported by a clear majority, the outcome would have been "delete". In this discussion there was no consensus about how to interpret notability policy with regards to this class of topic, and hence no consensus as to the overall outcome.
