[edit]Thrussells are British sculptors from Cornwall England. Gary M Thrussell (born 1958) and Thomas F G Thrussell (born 1987). They are best known for their public sculpture depicting heritage and natural history.
One to their largest collections of sculptures in public is along the Plym Valley Heritage Trail in Plymouth.
Their large public sculpture include the H.M Stanley heritage column ‘Bulamatari’ in St Asaph 2012, Bilston Heritage Chimney in Bilston Wolverhampton 2013, Brentwood Heritage Column Essex 2004.

[edit]Thrussells are a family of Artist Metalsmiths / blacksmiths based in Cornwall United Kingdom.
Gary M Thrussell trained as millwright in Lake and Elliots in Braintree Essex, he first started creating sculpture full time in 1987, for the following thirteen years he worked throughout Essex creating privately commissioned sculpture in the form of giant insects. In 1999 Gary relocated three hundred miles west to a remote farmstead on Bodmin Moor with his wife Susan, two daughters and son.
In 2004 Gary’s son Thomas started his formal apprenticeship with his father.
Thomas F G Thrussell trained as a artist metal fabricator. He trained with his father Gary Thrussell and attended college in Plymouth and Cornwall. After completing his apprenticeship Thomas and his father Gary established their artist practise know as Thrussell and Thrussell (T&T) later known as the Thrussells.
