What is DXdao?[edit]
DXdao is a decentralized autonomous organization, also known as a DAO, for open source development and on-chain governance[1] of software protocols and decentralized blockchain applications, also known as dApps.
It came into existence in May of 2019[2] as a highly-scalable and sovereign collective that is focused on growing the ecosystem of Decentralized Finance, also known as DeFi.
DXdao's unique characteristics feature:
- No hierarchies – There are no bosses within DXdao, instead members find consensus through voting;
- Symmetry of information – Equal access to information for all members;
- Swarm knowledge – A transparent feedback system that enables decision making with a high degree of success;
- Open for everyone – Access is permissionless and increases the knowledge and effectiveness of the collective;
