Tobril Eldritch - The Mighty and Most Feared

Tobril Eldritch is a part man, part draconic being. Origin unknown, he begins The Campaign as a Gladiator on the material plane of Athas.

He enters the Game of the Gods during a particularly brutal Athasian spectacle. During this particular 72 Hours - Tobril, Samius, and a particularly large minotaur are encapsulated by a green field of indeterminate nature.

Finding themselves in what can only be described as The Shop, they are greeted by a strange construct that informs them they are now participants in a contest to replace the current pantheons.

It would seem that deities do indeed retire, sometimes forcibly.

Tobril now possess a suit of Dragon Armour that will later alter his physiology and psyche driving him towards ever increasing madness, a knife that sends what it cuts into one of an apparently endless supply of bottles, and the sentient weapon Devastator who further influences the already unstable gladiator.

It is perhaps noteworthy to examine the mental health of a person who dedicates himself entirely to martial prowess. Tobril exhibits traits of a highly intelligent and educated individual. He does not, however, show more than the barest hint of his full ability during his training in the various arenas.

While he lacks slave markings, he confines himself within the bounds reserved for those not allowed outside the Pits. He is never witnessed outside his training regimen.
