Tom Schoenbeck[edit]

Tom Schoenbeck, (born May 29, 1957) is a retired United States Air Force, Senior Master Sergeant, and a REALTOR with Keller Williams Realty in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. He was born in Chicago Illinois to his biological parents, and subsequently adopted at age 14 by his now deceased parents, Robert and Kathryn Schoenbeck, formerly of Phoenix AZ.

Tom entered the Air Force in 1976 at age 18 after his family moved from a suburb of Chicago; Streamwood, to Phoenix Arizona in the early 70's. He rose in the military ranks achieving the second highest enlisted grade before his retirement as a Maintenance Superintendant. During his military tenure, he was assigned to Kirkland AFB in New Mexico, Chanute AFB in Illinois, Keflavik Naval Air Station in Iceland, Mountain Home AFB in Idaho, and finally Dover AFB in Dover Delaware, where he retired in 1996. Among his military achievements was being the recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal and graduating with honors from the Air Education and Training Command, Senior Enlisted Air Force Academy, in Montgomery Alabama.

While stationed in Albuquerque New Mexico at Kirtland, Tom married the former Diana Jeanne Worley on May 12, 1979. He adopted Diana's natural son, Anthony Michael, who now resides in NJ. In 1975, Tom earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Psychology through Park University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and a Associates Degree of Applied Aerospace Sciences with the Air University of the United States Air Force.

After his retirement from the Air Force in 1996, Tom went to work for the state of Delaware as a child abuse investigator in Dover and in 1999 he accepted a position as a weekend statewide supervisor for the Department of Services for Children, Youth, and their Families. He still holds this position on weekends and is a full time Realtor during the week.
