Trend Setter The Original was born Randy Bruks Williams at his grand mothers house in St. Elizabeth Jamaica. As a young boy he was known as a singer in and around his community, Influenced by his uncle who was a Sound system selector at a dancehall one block away from their home, at age four Trend Setter started going to the dancehall to watch his uncle play the resident sound system known as Burger Fire owned by the owner of the dancehall.

Very regular, after playing a record, his uncle always flip the record to the instrumental and give young Trend Setter the microphone to sing, after some time young Trend Setter became known as the Little DJ from out the lane, also because he frequently got into lyrical battles with other artist in and around the community young and old, Trend Setter was heavily influenced by the sound system culture at a young age even though he went to church every Sunday, his grand father also owned a dancehall in the adjoining community along with a sound system which later split into two to form two separate sound systems...

In 2006 Randy Williams graduated from the B.B Coke Comprehensive High School at age fifteen and migrated to the north side of the island, to the parish of St, Ann, where he recorded his first feature with Ricco and Audeen on the 2pac Do for love instrumental under the artist name Berreda.

Berreda created Dark Age Dynasty/Trend Setter Exclusive, In 2006, Dark Age Dynasty was just a group of boys who didn't have much, but we had Street Smart, Talent, Ambition and our love for Music, Reggae Music. The master mind "Trend Setter" The man behind the Dynasty was just a teenager (16) with a young taste for getting the message across and for success. The group members look to him for leadership because he had that swag that everyone admired, he wasn't the most popular boy in town but to the group he was much more than popular.

Because of his passion for music, he was introduced to FL Studio 3.4, using a computer which belonged to his cousin, he started to learn little by little about the program. At 17 years old he was making Dance hall Beats/Riddim, but not for professional use, he didn't have that kind of connection to the music Industry, but he made them for his friend of the Dynasty to write songs to.

After struggling to find a way into the music business. 2010 he decided to start his own Record label and Started working with a few artist in and around town.

2012 Trend Setter quit his day job as a lifeguard because he was becoming culturally aware and started to follow the Rastafarian Tewahedo Orthodox faith as he was partaking in offering cannabis as his sacrament to the deities/angels of Ajna the third eye chakra and being heavily influenced by reggae music also reading the holy Bible from start to finish among other books which lead him to being a versatile songwriter.

2013 Trend setter worked with well know producer Sandyu Sandstormz Williamson as a producer engineer and composer at Sandstorms Studio in Runaway bay St. Ann Jamaica where he learned much more about the music

Trend Setter recorded his first reggae demo a song he titled West Africa in 2017 at Tuff Gong studio in Kingston Jamaica, the song was recoded again in December 2019 and published as the fifth single for his debut album 7 Seals Of Revelation released on the first of April 2020.

Today Trend Setter The Original is the Sole Proprietor, CEO/Executive/Producer/Engineer Reggae Music Singer Songwriter and Composer at Trend Setter Exclusive a major Record Label in St. Ann Jamaica.
