First trip from "Christopherbal Columbus, or the so called "Discovery trip", was a martime expedition captained by Columbus and financed by the Castilla y Aragón (currently spanish crown), reigned by the so called "Catholic Monarchs". The expedition departed on 3rd August 1942 from puerto Palos de la Frontera (Huelva, España).
