Daniel Martin Eckhart (born 1962) is an Adolf Grimme Awards nominated features and series scriptwriter. He writes feature-length films for the long-running German Tatort TV series, where each of his productions to date have topped eight million viewers.
He specializes on adapting novels for film and television, most recently: Brother Grimm by Craig Russell, The Coffee Trader by David Liss and Lena's Escape by Olga Daschkova.
