Vidyanagar village is located in Kota mandal of Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh. It is 65 km from Nellore town. Situated 14km away from the coast of Bay of Bengal, and far away from pollution, the village experiences pleasant climate throughout the year.

Etymology[edit]

The word Vidyanagr is combination of two sanskrit words vidya+nagar which means centre for education in Sanskrit language

Demographics[edit]

Telugu is the official and principal language of the city, whereas Hindi and Urdu are also spoken chiefly. The village has a population of about 50,000.The literacy rate of the town is more then 65%
