We all know that our pets need constant care and attention but how often do we give them the care they need? we may have the pet as a family member of the previous generation or any other cause that we claim are the reasons as to why we don't give the pet its care.
Animals are like babies no matter its age even if the progeny is fully matured. They don't poses critical thinking skills as we do so it is our duty to protect them and care for them. If you are not willing to do so there are plenty of existing pet care centers and NGOs where they will be cared for and please do not send them to the pound the name itself means something bad. There they tend to kill strays if no one claims them and no that is not justice to them either.
however the main topic for this articles is grooming your pet whether its a dog a cat or any other pet grooming is necessary it is the basic hygiene that plays a role if you wish well for your pets health.
Cats are considered an exception as the species by nature possess the ability to clean itself by licking themselves and hence bathing in their saliva. this practice helps them maintain their fur, warmth and maintain oil distributions throughout so they in a way groom themselves. however taking extra precaution always creates a good impact and is better.
Dogs on the other hand do not practice this. it is advised that the owner should bathe the dog minimum once a week and take care of its nutrition. use of flea and tick repellents are great for precaution of what may come sooner or later. If your pet still catches a flea fever or tick fever then nothing is wrong its just that you need to put in additional efforts or the medicine or application used of the repellent isn't effective.
TICKS PREVENTION METHODS (for dogs may work for others too) 1. If your pet has spent alot of time in the garden over soil or in the water it is very likely that they may have ticks chances are high in this case whereas if your pet is an indoor pet and stay in your house this is very rare however small walks wont do them wrong.
2. Maintain a shower and medication record.
3. Take extra care on their nutrition and vitamins
