William was not active on Wikipedia for the last several years. He started the article on his namesake, William Gannaway Brownlow; if this was a conflict of interest, it should also be noted that this was the only "vanity article" to ever open with a sentence such as this:
- "William Gannaway Brownlow was probably one of Tennessee's most hated governors."[1]
William also made other Tennessee-related edits.
