User:Who R you?/CGHC-R
Adds a Row of data to Canada Games Host Cities , appropriately formatted for either the Winter or Summer Games. Formatting is determined from the Year, assuming games alternating between Winter & Summer, being held every other year, with the first games being Winter games in 1967.
Usage

where (unnamed parameters in sequence represent)
1 | Year | → | the year in which the Games were/will be held. The year determines if the row is formatted for the Winter (left) or Summer (right) table; but which table it is added to is controlled by the location where CGHC-R is called.Notice: If the table contains an odd number of items (and therefore the Winter list (left) is ½ row longer than the Summer list (right)), the left side of the table does NOT automatically add the necessary border to the bottom-right side of the bottom row in the Winter list; in order to add this, a final call to CGHC-R without any parameters (i.e. simply " |

2 | City/Cities | → | City]] is automatically created if the article exists. Where multiple cities host (or for example with PEI when the Games were Hosted throughout the Province), if no "City, Prov/Terr" article exists, no link is created; City/Cities parameter can specify multiple cities with links by providing the entire, appropriately linked, city names, as in " Saguenay and Lac Saint-Jean" in 1983; note that the province/territory will still link automatically based upon parameter # 3 (Prov/Terr).
3 | Prov/Terr | → | territory/province hosting the Games; automatically links (or will create a red-link) to the article for the province/territory.
4 | Footnote | → | [optional] any character to be automatically superscripted (e.g. " a "), after the Prov/Terr, to associate with a footnote (which must be manually added) at the base of the table; note ∗ ("∗") is automatically substituted for * (asterisk).
5 | AltProvName | → | [optional] alternative province/territory name to be displayed for link (i.e. The 17th Winter Games were held in the province of what is now "Newfoundland and Labrador"; but in 1999 when the Games were hosted, the province's name was "Newfoundland" (having been renamed by Parliament in 2003); to display the proper province name (as of 1999) but link to the proper provincial article (entitled "Newfoundland and Labrador") and to the appropriate city article(s) (" Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador"), pass Prov/Terr (parameter # 3) as "Newfoundland and Labrador" and include AltProvName (parameter # 5) to indicate "Newfoundland" as the correct name at the time of the Games.
6 | AltFlag | → | [optional] as with AltProvName {above}, AltFlag may be used to specify an alternative provincial/territorial flag symbol, inserted via the Province/Territory where AltFlag replaces Province/Territory which defaults to parameter # 3 Prov/Terr {above} if AltFlag is omitted. |
