As an archivist I often need to know a large breadth of knowledge. Finding and properly centering material in a much wider context is essential to making archives useful. Much of the time I use Wikipedia to fill in gaps in that context. As a show of my appreciation, I try and contribute when I can.
Conflict of Interest Statement[edit]
I am an employee of McMaster University's William Ready Division of Archives and Research Collections. Any contributions I make in relation to material held by or related to the Division will be done so in a neutral manner, with citations, and will be in keeping with the goals of the Wikipedia community. Many of these may include the addition of links to finding aids or collection descriptions to provide better access to primary source material. My goal is to help provide better access to information and resources for everyone. If there are any concerns about my edits or contributions, especially if they are in contravention of Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines, please get in touch with me through my talk page.
