Jarvis (/ˈdʒɑːrvɪs/ in English, IPA: [ˈʒɑːɹvɪs] in Jarvis, also called "Jarvish" in English) is an unfinished constructed language that is currently not used by any peoples real or fictional.
It began on 9 January 2017 and has gone through substantial change grammatically and phonetically since its conception. Latin, Old and Modern English, German, Khuzdul, and many other living, dead, and fictional languages have inspired the creation of Jarvis.
The word "jârvis" itself means "language" or "speech" in Jarvis, while the word "jârvê" means "to speak".
