My professional name is Wilmer Thomas, and I have developed an increasing interest in old time history of northern Europe, me myself being born in the supposed origin of Scandinavia, 'Skåne'.

Raised debates in Wikipedia:
- Where lies the Birka of Ansgar? I think Köpingsvik is the natural answer, which fits every description of Adam of Bremen in those accounts where the traditionally held Birka at Björkön fails!
- Must we accept Uppsala, Uppland, to be the original cult place for ancient Asa cult in Scandinavia?
See talk page of Ancient Uppsala!
- Is there a possible similarity in the stories of Beowulf and the Rolf Krake saga that may indicate that they describe the same characters? There is much resemblances between first Beowulf and Bodvar Bjarke, second between Rolf Krake and his uncle, Hrothogar/Roar (supposed founder of Roskilde, i.e. Leire in Själland. Last, the reign of Beowulf in the end have much in common with the aleged reign of Rolf Krake.
See talk page on Origins for Beowulf and Rolf Krake.
- Is it possible that Odin was in fact a historical person, as stated by Snorri Sturluson in his Edda and Saxo Grammaticus in Gesta Danorum?
This also was the hypothesis for Thor Heyerdahl in his last project, Jakten på Odin. See talk page of that article.
(Actually, mostly entered here for my own purposes. You may consider it as bragging though ;-)
