Edward Johnson was a Methodist circuit rider.
Johnson was born in Tyrone County, Ireland, near the town of Lisleen.[1]
Johnson worked as a local preacher. In 1809, he was accepted as a minister, and worked as an assistant to Gideon Ousley. Subsequently, he was sent to minister in the Canadas. In 1817, he was assigned to the Fort Wellington circuit.[1]
